APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Answer all questions fully. Use no nicknames.
2. You will receive an email confirmation of your application. Forward a copy to your local chapter for their records.
3. Ensure  your initiation fees and dues ($40.00) are paid by your chapter.

Application for Campus Membership

  • Student applicant shall:
    1. Be an undergraduate or graduate, in actual attendance, eligible for a degree from, and in good standing in, a Dept. of Communication Arts and/or Sciences, located in a college or university where a chapter of ZETA PHI ETA exists;
    2. Have compiled at least three (3) courses in communication arts and/or sciences;
    3. Have above-average grades in major department of study, and at least average grades in other subjects;
    4. Receive a three-fourths (3/4) vote of the chapter members.

  • Areas of communication arts and sciences are defined as all theatre subjects, oral interpretation, radio, television, film, children’s theatre, storytelling, speech education, communication studies, public address, debate, communicative disorders, journalism, broadcasting and mass media.
  • Activities

  • ZETA PHI ETA expects each member to maintain the best standards in his or her major field; to support the departmental activities and the programs of ZETA PHI ETA; and to contribute his or her talents, time, and interest to the goals of this professional fraternity. The goals stress the importance of building and maintaining a professional philosophy to be used in furthering the status of persons in the communication arts and sciences.
